Yellowbird Ropes 3 APCMA Awards

At the recent Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards, Shane Yellowbird took home the most trophies, winning three awards. He won for "Single of the Year (Beautiful Concept)", "Best Music Video (Beautiful Concept)" and "Best New Artist".

More than 5,000 people from around the globe voted online to nominate and choose winners. The awards were handed out in front of a crowd of more than 3,000 people at Winnipeg’s MTS Centre, during a classy and impressive nationally televised awards ceremony.

Yellowbird and band opened the telecast with an energetic performance of "Pick-up Truck" from his new album. He returned to the stage several more times during the evening to accept his awards and to acknowledge family, fans, and industry support.
