Keith Urban Approved!

Keith Urban was an unexpected witness to Shane Yellowbird's performance at last week's Dauphin Country Fest.

Humbled by the standing ovation exuded by Friday night's sold out crowd, Shane's greatest compliment was received backstage as Keith Urban gave the performance his stamp of approval.

"I came off the stage and Keith was standing there. He just looked at me, shook my hand and said ‘great show man'. I was so surprised and there were so many things I wanted to say but I was absolutely speechless," recalls Yellowbird. "To have someone of his caliber take the time to watch your show is a compliment in itself. It was absolutely amazing."

The Dauphin Country Fest kicked off Shane's summer festival tour which will take him to over 18 summer festivals throughout Canada, the U.S. as well as Shanghai China.
