Shane Yellowbird Opry Documentary to Air on CMT July 21st
“Shane Yellowbird: Music City U.S.A.,” a new documentary by director Antonio Hyrnchuk, is scheduled to premiere Wednesday, July 21st at 6:30pm EST on CMT Canada. This exclusive 30-minute television special intimately chronicles the days, hours and minutes leading up to Yellowbird’s debut performance on the legendary Grand Ole Opry, and includes special appearances by Gretchen Wilson, Buddy Jewell, Charlie Daniels, and NHL superstar Jordin Tootoo. “At first, having the camera crew around me made me a bit nervous,” says Shane of the documentary-making process. “But now that I’ve seen the end results, I’m happy they were there to capture the entire week on tape.
