Shane Yellowbird Celebrates Canada Day in a Big Way

Shane Yellowbird performed to a crowd of tens of thousands of patriotic Canadians on July 1st on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. As a featured artist at the nation's biggest Canada Day celebration, Shane performed several songs during the day, including the finale with world-renowned singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan.

"Performing with Sarah was definitely a highlight for me," says Shane of the day. "To share the stage with someone so incredibly talented was surreal. The crowd was amazing. I couldn't have imagined a better way to celebrate Canada's birthday."

Shane's sophomore album "It's About Time" is scheduled to be released this fall. Listen for "Bare Feet on the Black Top," the album's debut single, to hit radio very soon.
