Shane Yellowbird Set to Record New Album

Shane Yellowbird, one of Canada's busiest touring acts, is taking a few weeks from the road this May to complete his highly anticipated sophomore album. The yet-to-be-titled album is set for release this fall and promises fans and industry alike the high caliber of music they've come to expect of Shane as a performer. Having gained valuable experience both personally and professionally since the 2007 debut release of his award-winning "Life is Calling My Name" album, Shane appreciates how that experience is shaping his new project.

"Playing to thousands of fans across Canada over the past few years has helped me grow as an artist and focus on what I want the next album to be all about" says Yellowbird. "Going into the studio in May, I have a real vision of what I want the new album to be. I can't wait."
