Shane Yellowbird to Perform at Juno Awards

CTV and CARAS have announced that Shane Yellowbird will be performing on the televised Juno Awards on April 6th. Singing with Paul Brandt and other fellow Country Recording of the Year nominees, the group will perform a special tribute saluting the host city and province, Canada's heartland of country music, Calgary, Alberta.

Raised in Hobbema, Alberta, only two hours north of Calgary, Yellowbird is honored with the opportunity to be a part of the tribute and to perform with his country music collegues.

"I have a lot of respect for the others who have been nominated and I'm excited to work with them. Four of us are originally from Alberta so it will be like a homecoming!"

Broadcast from the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, the 2008 Juno Awards will air nationally April 6th on CTV.
