November 15, 2007 Shane Yellowbird a Hit on the Paul Brandt "Risk" Tour
Winter has arrived, but things just keep getting hotter for Canadian Country music sensation Shane Yellowbird. Following his "Chevy Rising Star of the Year" CCMA award win in September, Yellowbird claimed three more awards including "Aboriginal Entertainer of the Year" at the 2007 Aboriginal People's Choice Music Awards. But he didn't stop there--with his newest single "I Remember the Music" shooting up the charts, Shane hit the road to open for Paul Brandt on the Eastern leg of his "Risk" tour. "What a great experience" says Yellowbird about being on the tour, "Paul is a master, and even though I was only with them for a short time, he and Liz treated me and my guys like gold. Besides being so talented, they're just straight up nice, caring people." "Shane Yellowbird was very engaging and entertaining on stage-- He is a great showman, and the fans love him." says Brandt of having Shane open for him. "I believe that his debut into the music industry has only scratched the surface of his talent. I'll look forward to seeing where the future takes him... I have a feeling that the sky's the limit."
