Shane Yellowbird Nominated for Three Western Canadian Music Awards

The 2007 Western Canadian Music Awards are quickly approaching-- and following a successful run at the 2007 CCMA's, Shane Yellowbird has been nominated in three categories at the WCMA's this year, including;

-Outstanding Aboriginal Recording of the Year
-Outstanding Country Recording of the Year
- Video of the Year

Still riding high from his recent #1 single and video, as well as his CCMA win, Yellowbird is ecstatic at the response he has received from the fans and the industry. "You work hard for a long time, and when things like this suddenly start happening, it's hard to believe it's real." Says yellowbird, "I'm really humbled by all of it, and I just want to appreciate and enjoy every minute."

The 5th Annual Western Canadian Music Awards will take place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan October 18th-21st.
