Shane Yellowbird shoots video for "I Remember the Music."

Last weekend, in preparation for the release of his next single "I Remember the Music", Shane Yellowbird shot a new music video-- the shoot took place on a farm in Saskatchewan. Yellowbird's new single is an upbeat, inspirational song about the power of music to lift your spirits in hard times.

Yellowbird had a great time shooting the video on the abandoned farm just outside Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. "It was just a good time" says Yellowbird about the shoot, "there was a great crew, great cast-- and it's a really feel good song, so everyone had a blast making the video."

Yellowbird, a cowboy at heart, grew up in Alberta on the rodeo circuit, and made a living breaking horses, so he felt right at home shooting the video in the Saskatchewan countryside. "I loved our video location, and the feel of the song and the video is really laid back and fun." says Yellowbird, "I can't wait to get the finished product out there."

The new video and single will be released later this summer.
