March 28, 2007 Yellowbird to Perform at CMA Music Festival in June
The Country Music Association (CMA) has invited Shane Yellowbird to
perform at the Fourth Annual Global Artist Party, which will be held at
the Stage on Broadway in Nashville on Monday, June 4th at 6:15pm. The
event features the best in Country Music entertainment from around the
world and serves as the unofficial kick off to the CMA Music Festival.
"I am thrilled to have been asked to represent Canada at this event,"
says Yellowbird, "and to follow in the footsteps of previous notable
Canadian artists [Jason McCoy, Brad Johner, Doc Walker, and Lisa Brokop
]."
Besides Yellowbird, five other internationally known Country Music
artists representing five countries are currently scheduled. Each has
garnered a following in their respective territory. The event also
serves as an opportunity for the thousands of fans that descend on
Nashville during the CMA Music Festival to see and hear acclaimed
international performers.
