Yellowbird CD hits the street in early 2006

The long awaited debut CD from Shane Yellowbird is set for release early 2006 on 306 Records. Featuring the current single, ?Beautiful Concept?, that is making waves on radio and CMT, Shane's new CD features 10 strong cowboy tunes.

?I've always been a cowboy,? comments Shane, ?and I sing about what I know. These songs reflect what's important to me; love, family, and just enjoying life. Every tune comes from who I am.?

Award winning producer Bart McKay of Sound Edge Studios was at the helm for this project. Having solid songs and great studio musicians, matched with Bart's skill at producing highly professional albums, will ensure a product that is sure to make an impact on the Canadian country music scene.

The new CD, ?Life is Calling my Name?, is titled after one of the tracks and is one of Shane's favorites.

?When I cut that song I new it had to be the name of the CD,? Shane said. ?That's how I feel, doing this project, like this is what I been called to. Singing and entertaining is what I'm supposed to do.?
