I also had a problem up until i was thirty.I am now much older now ,but for years i suffered shame because of it.I overcame some of it by avoiding certain words,and by using the word 'hey' to start some conversations. and when i do mess up i am the first to laugh at myself.i have come to accept this as been part of my life.
